One of my hobbies over the years has been to design patches, both for my police organizations and "mission patches" for astronomical activities or events. Figured if the big boys at NASA can have their mission patches, we can also! I designed and purchased the patches for two reasons; I wanted to have them and thought others may also. This is not a for-profit operation; the cost of the patches is my cost.

The LCROSS patch depicts the Centaur mission in 2009, headed for the Moon, and displays the motto "Lux Ex Tenebris," which translates to Light From Darkness. The small number "17" is a tribute to the seventeen American astronauts who have perished aboard US spacecraft. It also includes a small Lunar Impact Team patch no longer available,  as a connection between the two groups.

I still have an ample supply of the LCROSS patch, plus complimentary stickers. If you wish to acquire a patch, please send a stamped, self-addressed #10 envelope to the address below, along with $3.00 per patch. I'll send you a couple of stickers for free.

The Asteroid Hunterspatch symbolizes the nightly hunt for Near Earth Objects that may threaten us, and the efforts of amateur and professional astronomers in obtaining astrometry and photometry data for these bodies. The motto means Seize the Night. If you wish to acquire a patch, please send a stamped, self-addressed #10 envelope to the address below, along with $3 per patch. I'll send you a couple of vinyl stickers for free with each patch (they look great on scopes and other stuff).

I also designed a patch for my observatory (above), which is also available. The Lenomiya Observatory patch is a unique design, denoting the Moon, an asteroid/comet, and the Orion Constellation . The moto, "Ex Astris Scientia," means From the Stars, Knowledge. If you wish to acquire a Lenomiya patch, please send a stamped, self-addressed #10 envelope to the address below, along with $3 per patch. I'll send you a couple of vinyl stickers for free with each patch.

The LightCurve Analyst patch, dedicated to those researchers, amateur and professionals, who follow the night skies searching and measuring lightcurve data for both asteroids and variable stars. The motto in Latin "Lucem Sequimur" means Follow The Light. If you wish to acquire a patch, please send a stamped, self-addressed #10 envelope to the address below, along with $2 per patch. I'll send you a couple of vinyl stickers for free with each patch.

The Amateur Asteroid Astronomy logo represents the thousands of  advanced amateur scientists who toil in lonely anonymity gathering astrometric and photometric data in support of minor panets databases and asteroid space missions. The motto in Latin "Scientia Vincere Tenebras" means Conquering darkness by science. If you wish to acquire this patch, please send a stamped, self-addressed #10 envelope to the address below, along with $3 per patch. I'll send you a couple of vinyl stickers for free with each patch.
